Its kind of a dumb rule as there is absolutely no verification (which this site desperately needs to have to keep out the riffraff) to make sure the name isn't made up but it is what it is.
I've said this exact thing many times. The only thing that rule does is keep those out who don't want their name on the internet and also are honest enough that they won't use a fake name.
I don't typically disagree with the mods, but this rule is pointless.
Am I barred from political thread?
