2.Buy from company that will help you get 137 and 44807 exception (takes forever to get and have to have an N number to get)
3. Call state DEQ or whatever alphabet soup handles you states pesticide license to see what are required.
4.Make sure you don't have any alcohol or drug related charges as that can kick you out of medical portion of 137.
In my opinion worth a shot. Per acre charge depends on your area. Plan on double what you expect to spend to get started. I would say dealer support would be important for what brand you want. Dji probably most user friendly xag probably best for full 1/4 mile fields. Best at your age to have some knowledge of the chemicals you will be applying or have the customer supply it and tell you what they want applied per acre. Just for reference I applied for my 137 in July and still waiting. There is some Facebook groups with a lot of knowledge also. I believe one I am in is dji ag spray drones. | |
