I do have very limited storage, normally the beans go to town, I fill the bin with corn and the rest gets hauled to town so on corn years it would mean more hauling. I like the idea of continuous corn. With conventional corn I normally use Aztec insecticide in furrow for root worm protection. Seems to work well but I had so many root worm beetles flying around a year ago I went back to traited corn this year to ease my mind. Never had a problem. Seems when I plant COC and then back to beans I have alot of stalk material to deal with. I don't have great tillage equipment, I make multiple passes to work my corn ground stalk cutter, disk and then tebben. Anyway thanks for the replies. Wally |
