| After an appointment with my rheumatologist and my blood pressure was 195/104, I knew I had to do something. First step was on the scale. I had avoided that for way too long. Tried cutting out the junk food, added more protein, and to get moving more. One year later and I am 80 pounds down and I just had my blood pressure checked and it was 116/72. Am I still fat, yes, but I am still working on it and excited to head to AZ soon where I can walk more and exercise in the pool. I turned 70 this year and wished I wouldn’t have waited so long to tackle this. But it is what it is and I take one day at a time. If you need to join in this journey, don’t wait too long. Try something that will work for you. Eat less and move more. You can do this too.
