East Central Arkansas | One year back years ago we had several bushels of green tomatoes we picked just before our first killing frost. I think some of them we wrapped in newspaper some we didn't. I think most were in 1/2 bushel baskets. A lot of them ripened good and had tomatoes until the first of the year. It looks like I will have a good many this year if I get them picked. A lot of bad busted ones now with all the rain we have had. Some uses for green tomatoes is chow chow relish and fried green tomatoes. | |
