Actually right now I’m in a different nursing home than my wife. Had major surgery on my ankle and I’m non weight bearing on it. Before this happened I would go to my wife twice daily as I could. Morning at breakfast time and supper time. Wanted her to have at least two warm meals daily. As she has hard time understanding how to operate iPad. I have an iPad set up by her and I FaceTime her daily. When it rings 3 times hers automatically opens up and I can see and talk to her. She can’t talk back ( as she can’t speak) but her facial expressions tell me what she thinking. Luckily I have two great children that visit mom as much as possible. I tell them don’t worry about dad he can speak for himself but see everything ok for mom.
