Subject: RE: Bitcoin

All money has little to no intrinsic value including Bitcoin. People corporations and governments that are adopting it do so because the number of bitcoin cant be manipulated and no single induvial or institution controls it. This is because the issuance rate is pre determined by code making it politically neutral.

I know what the supply of bitcoin will be tomorrow and ten years from now. I have no idea what the fed is going to do or how much paper currency will flood the market over the next decade The united states dollar is the best paper currency in the world yet it expands at 6-7% a year on average. So to sum it up in a simple way since all money has no intrinsic value I might as well use the one that has a hard capped limit instead of the one that has a exponentially increasing supply. So bitcoin makes more sense mathematically then storing value in Dollars or U.S treasuries. It makes WAY more sense than storing it in the Ruble or Chinese Yen which are both complete garbage.

Its just very simply 8th grade math. A stable unit of account is much better than one that grows both unpredictably and exponentially.
