indiana | Most tariffs have a get around? Did China really do anything unexpected or surprising by making South America their soybean choice over North America? Things are a mess when tariffs are involved(my opinion). But in the end Trump, the tariffs, etc didn’t cause China to shun us, it was going to happen. Trump and the tariffs, etc just sped up the process. We are second choice to many regarding the soybean market. I am afraid we better get used to $9.00 and $10.00 soybeans, barring a major production shortfall in North or South America. | |
