I've had it for years, grew up on two cylinder Deere tractors. The 730 Diesel was probably more responsible for my tinnitus than any one other thing. Years of running a 1066 with a straight pipe and being around too many grain bin fans in the fall at harvest didn't help either.
I've had Phonak hearing aids for 6 years now, they don't make it go away, but they do make it tolerable.
