So you are thinking the green line held Friday? I was thinking it closed below and we could be headed back to the lower line. Again, I appreciate your work.
Yes the green median line held so price should head back to the lower red line. It’s almost winter time though and given enough time (3-5 months) the roll into the spring contracts will get price there, to the lower red line, anyway. The fork is sloping up about 8 cents per month, puts the lower line about $2.55 in mid March. The April is at like $2.80 right now, the roll almost gets price there is what I’m saying.
The hard decision was made Thursday and the easy money was made Friday. Price could drop all the way to the lower line on the January contract, but I think another run will be made on the green line this winter, before the lower line is reached (if it is to be reached) next spring. |
