Farmington, Mo | Been no-tilling corn since 2008 on HEL ground. It’s been a long time developing the practice.
We spread our dry fertilizer on within a week of planting. It’s a mix of DAP, potash and AMS. Has 70ish lbs of N in the mix. We started running liquid starter last year 2x2, mostly phosphate but has a tickle of N and K. We then come back at V7-V8 and y-drop another 80-140lbs of N with 28-0-0-4S.
We have very good results with this program. | |
