| This was my first year of raising canola. and i rather enjoyed it. it was its own baby sitter. but then it didnt yield worth a crap. and i tried buying the crop. turned the coals to it. tried buying a 2400lb crop...and boom 1600 lbs....at .18 cents a pound....didnt make any money. and as i sit here looking at cash prices today canola is under .17 cents a lb.... that penny is a 16.00 loss on top of my already big loss on canola. inputs are expensive. | |
