Subject: To the organic guys.

10 miles South of Valparaiso Indiana
I have 100 acres of land I farm that I cannot use any synthetic insecticide on. (Force for example). First year for needing to do this due to seed corn maggot taking 50 bu/ac of corn away. I need to go the organic route on insecticide because the landlord will not allow any synthetic insecticide. I have in furrow starter capabilities on my Horsch planter. Planning on 10-34-0, Vitazyme and organic insecticide. What do you guys recommend? Quick research shows diatomaceous earth, and Thuricide. Do any of you guys have to agitate organic insecticides before dumping in planter (I don't have that capability but thought I would ask)?
