I've been told that WCA asked Arthur Companies to get firm financing commitments, and Arthur was working on this, but the board moved ahead with the CHS bid on a tight timeframe.
The only logical reason to rush the bid is to allow the management team to get their $20+ million in transaction bonuses, in my opinion.
A no-vote and a board overhaul seems prudent here, if an additional $25 million is simply being ignored here. | |
