Eastern NE KS | The heifers are 10 registered Angus and 3 low% Simmental - high% Angus. The 2 misfits are a June born steer and a hard luck 'hairless' heifer that was sunburned in March when newly born. She has hair now but the burned skin is slooooowly healing. Pictured below, she weighs about 500. Today I noticed corral living is not kind to her. The burned area on her right front leg was bleeding this evening.
