I have no knowledge or information regarding this proposed merger/buyout.
BUT, unfortunately the original intent of the co-op system has been lost amongst the owners/customers. The ones who complain the loudest are the least likely to offer solutions or serve. Capable business minds do not have or make time.
It has become like most other business ventures; get big or get out.
