They determined after a fuel sample was sent in that it was do to old ethanol sludge that got into the fuel system my understanding of how it was explained to me is ethanol can go bad like gas over time but the gunk from it can build up in tanks trucks anywhere where it is stored or transported



Yeah, doubtful.

It’s handier for the dealership to blame the fuel than admit to a manufacturing or other defect. BTDT.
