I've always loved clocks, and have a Howard Miller grandfather clock (model # 610-983) that is always running and keeps perfect time. It's 20 years old, bought from original owners several years ago. Also have several 8-day mantel clocks that range between 50 to 100 years old, and an 8-day cuckoo clock made in Germany that is 40 years old. I've never seen it as a problem to wind a clock once a week, or a wrist watch each day when I still wore wind-up watches.
