Central Indiana | I'd sure try everything under the sun before surgery. In 98 I had same thing your describing. I had an epidural. It worked great for a few years with chiropractic care. I was givin physical therapy and ordered to be more careful. In 2002 I had my first disc/laminectomy. It was a total failure. I was down all winter. Leg pain was still horrible. I grit my teeth and went back to work. After a few more years that l4-l5 nerve finally died. It sucks. Talk about falling all the time bc you can't feel all of your leg/foot sucks. In 2009 I had to have l3-l4 done. That surgery was great. I walked out 70% better. My dad just got fused for the second time in 4 years at age 70 from l4 to t2. His first surgery the screws came out. My point is surgery is risky and results can vary. I wish you the best. I know it sucks and hurts. I feel your pain. And from my first surgery. You better follow all their direction even if it means you miss a planting or harvest. If you follow their orders I bet you'll have much better results. Best of luck | |
