East Central, Nebraska | if i remember correctly they changed how the motor interfaced the main gear which made them stronger and quieter and somewhat quicker responding. the mdu may have been upgraded also.
i don't think going from the 2+ to the 3 was as huge of a step up as going from anything before the 2+ but nice changes in the 3. if your happy with the 2+ on your planter you may be fine sticking with it, though i know i run my ammonia applicator and sprayer much faster than my planter so the newer features may indeed be required in those applications to function better.
i have an ontrac3 on the shelf i keep saying i am going to put in something and never do that has been used very little since new. if you cant come up with something make me an offer. i need to start liquidating the stuff i am not using. if you make me a reasonable enough offer i will just give you a versa.
