Eastern NE KS | I doubt it but I'm more sure you are about to read widely differing opinions. I like the fact her mom has done so well over a few years. I'd have a different opinion if she had lost a calf someway.
My opinion is not worth much. I know I have saved calves and lost calves due to my help or interference but at the time I thought I was helping. In addition, I have saved calves and lost calves when I decided to let the pair and nature take its course. Yet at the time, I thought I doing good by not interfering .
You know more or will know more in 10 years after keeping this replacement. I wish you well.
