1972RedNeck - 11/24/2024 13:32 Maybe. Didn't kill me. Look at the stats - "flu" deaths were way down when "covid" deaths were way up. That, and death from (or should I say with) "covid" was exaggerated by the medical community to get more money.

before we all get cocky, i have 2 neighbors who were killed by covid 19. i'm just bringing up the point. these people were homebodies for the most part and not out doing something stupid. they were both older but not OLD. it took em both down hard. its real and can do bad things to the wrong people in the right circumstance. i have another neighbor we try to stay way from because of reduced lung capacity if we think theres a chance weve had anything or been around someone who did...

we live out lives but just try to be cautious when necessary.

That is a very valid point. To keep it in perspective though throughout history the elderly and the weak have always been at risk from viruses. The old flu virus was a killer every year also. I’m not trying to downplay what you said but unfortunately those close to the edge have always faced that danger.

youre not wrong, but my assumption is at least one of the two would have died in their later years rather than their 60's had covid 19 never showed up. EVERYONE is not wrong to live their lives. i just cringe when everyone had the it wont happen to me mentality and it may not happen to YOU but can easily happen to a very close loved one...
