Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | Been laying tile for ourselves since 1977 started with a Vemeer PT 12 powered by a 706 diesel with a hydraulic winch on the front 1500 ft was a great day
Owned a Buckeye Super D for quite a few years "sold to An AgTalker" 4000 feet was a good day
Bought a LIEBRECHT plow in 1994
Never laid tile with out a laser first was a 180 degree
Then a Laser Plane 945L in 1994 "still working great"
I have enjoyed laying tile
Pics of what we have now
D85 Komatsu pulling the Liebrecht plow we bought in 1994 with an added pony motor setup for hydraulics
I quit stringing off the front of the dozer and added a lego block "more weight would be better"
I'm 70-- sure is easier to have the tile strung out before plowing ---did 50,000 feet Tuesday (9- 5500' maxi's)
"was a great day mains were in " easy for me sitting on the dozer
Dan
FWIW retiling the last 200 acres 3" on 25' another 100 acres to do THEN possibly done until we buy ground
