Loading wagons on the go creates way more compaction than a cart and is limited to neatly ideal ground conditions. I'd bet it would be cheaper to run a grain cart and one truck than have three tractors and drivers going all the time. Now that I think of it, pretty sure it’s 2 tractor/wagon combos. There’s no way one truck and driver could have even came close to keeping up this fall. We have 2 trucks/trailers, one guy doing his best to keep up. He’s running his ass off all day to keep up. It was a struggle for me running the cart to keep up. Helped to have my 12 year old grandson on the weekends to run the cart, that’s him in the pic. That way I could help the guy running trucks so he could catch his breath. The yields were exceptional.
