Southeast WI | 1- When done spraying for the day run sprayer out. Put 50-100 gal clean water in and spray that out. Keeps chems from accumulating in all kinds of places.
2- Run 3 similar rinses out when switching to a different crop. Also before going to beans (almost all are RR correct) spray a small tank of just Gly to help begin the "rinsing" of corn chems out.
3- Clean filters out when switching crops.
4- Cardinal rule before spraying beans. Or veg crops too in my case. DO NOT FILL THE SPRAYER HOURS BEFORE OR EVENING BEFORE you spray that crop. Keep clean water in your nurse tank and fill sprayer immediately before spraying. When water sits in sprayer it sucks all kinds of nasty stuff out of the plastic tank. | |
