once you learn the habits of an engine I dont check it very often, probably bite me in the butt someday But I might put 150 hours on my loader tractor without ever pulling the stick, same on my 7810 with 13k hours, it still never even uses a quart between 100 hour changes.

and too much oil can do more harm than not enough, if its in the low-full ranges just run it
