Subject: RE: CEAT tires

New Castle, PA
Ceat has been around for about 100 years , they have just never had a presence in North America . Their markets were mostly Southeast Asia , Africa , and Europe . The story we got from our tire wholesaler is that a number of years ago the owners of BKT tires had a dispute amongst themselves and some of the owners pulled out of the company as well as a couple of engineers . In a move of revenge ,they became involved with Ceat and brought the Ceat tires into North America . If you look closely at many Ceat tires they resemble a BKT tire .We have sold many with good results over the last 6-8 years . Are they comparable to a Firestone or a Michelin , nope . However they are every bit as good as a BKT, Alliance , or Galaxy.
