I have a SISU motor in a combine that dipstick always reads at the add notch when you pull it out. If you wait a while and stick it back in and pull out, it seems to read the actual oil level.
Is this common on some engines or is this something to do with that particular engine?
Dipstick tube goes down beside the pan with a fitting coming off of the bottom of the oil pan horizontally.
