Depends on what I'm spraying. I'm in wheat country so I can only speak for that. When spraying broadleaf herbicides I'm usually 8-12 GPA, when spraying grassy weeds I use 12-18 GPA. Contact herbicides need more water volume for good coverage, all else being equal. Systemic herbicides you can get away with lower water volumes and less coverage. I spray glyphosate & group 4s at 4 GPA.
