I have a 9 speed manual in a Kenworth that I have owned and driven for 15 years with no problems. My son just bought a 2014 Pete with an ultra shift plus that I drove a few times this fall that amazes me with its smooth shifting. Never grinds and up shifts when accelerating and downshifts as soon as rpm’s drop below around 1400. As a retired dairy man with bad knees and shoulder problems I really appreciate that ease of driving.
Eaton automatic is driving me crazy. Any suggestions?
