| +1 on not owning an auto shift. Even worse is an auto in a farm truck. The added controls, wiring and quirky nature of them are enough reason to avoid them. The problems I've seen are sensors, wiring, x-y shifter, and the actual mechanical transmission. Even when new, they are prone to having fits where you have to coddle them. It sounds like the problem being in the same gear is either the x-y or a problem in the transmission. | |
