What I remember....If it was dry the worked ok, any wet under the ground they'd pull it up and pack full between the depth wheel and disc and boot,and then they slid, also at times they would bring up enough wet dirt it would start sticking to planter seed depth wheel. Even in the fully raised locked up position they would slightly drag on the ground and leave wet dirt for the seed unit.
