Subject: RE: Agleader InCommand 800 coverage switch

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
My first thought is the Ag Leader Application Rate module. It can be connected to an implement switch or a relay that changes the status of a circuit when the implement is raised or lowered. A coverage map and acres covered etc. is produced.

The Application Rate can be setup to monitor (but not control) the Application Rate. I do this with my planter where the starter fertilizer runs through a Raven flow meter. The applied rate is shown on the InCommand. A coverage map and an applied rate map are created. The map/applied rate starts/stops based on flow. If no flow passes through the flow meter, no map is created. Once application begins, a map and the applied rate are shown.

We also do this with a Yamatake mag meter on a liquid manure rig. Again the output from the mag meter causes the map and rate application computation to begin. The Application Rate does not control the application but provides information about it.

If you wish to control the application then other modules would be appropriate.
