Gotta say that mechanical lasts over electric. I have a 1985 NH with mechanical. I have just about worn it out, but never had an issue. Wish I could say the same with. the 2007 model. Older ones take some getting used to, but after putting 10,000 hours on it, I am used to it. Other experienced operators try running it, and it is a really different experience for them. Kinda like owning a 1 person dog.
