You’ve got a point with guys pulling big rippers probably a wash…. My point is though if using a ripper or inline ripper for a specific reason or issue such as compaction it’s at least doing the job, that tiny bit of rye growth for us guys this far North is doing nothing… just to prove it to you I was in the CSP program with the NRCS and the guy flat out told me they weren’t giving me any credit for covers that were planted after Soys or Corn, at the very least only after silage. He straight up told me we don’t get enough growth from cover in our region after harvest to benefit anything

I also stated manure, which is benefiting the soil more then rye any day of the week.
