West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | We only buy locally grown FL beef/meat inspected by the USDA from the top shelf Archie...just like whiskey you get what you pay for when buying from the bottom shelf.
We tend to shy away from Winn-Dixie because we feel Publix has better meat. People saying FL beef from Publix is not good, FL Publix stores must be managed much different than the FL Publix stores we frequent, because the beef we buy from our neighborhood Publix store is pretty darn good.
Publix has a partnership with Florida Cattle Ranchers LLC to sell beef that's born and raised in Florida if a person wants to be sure the beef is FL raised and like I stated before is just as good as mid-west raised beef...maybe even a little better. ;-)
FWIW, we don't eat much beef, pork, chicken when we spend time in FL because we can get beef, pork, chicken in MN but we cannot get same day caught saltwater fish, gulf shrimp, and crab in MN. |
We go south couple months and go to Winn dixey and the beef is not usda
