Dagmar, MT | In Sheridan County we have 3 schools. Plentywood, Westby and Medicine Lake. I'm not sure the numbers for Medicine Lake, but Westby spends $65,000 student(approx 15 in hs), Plentywood $13,000(about 100 in hs). The little bit of oil left in the county comes from the Westby area. I'm not sure who makes the call, but the state should have some threshold that tell the school districts when it's time to call it quits. | |
