Pittsburg, Kansas | I have a bed that does that. My wife loves it inclined, I do while on my back but not on either side. So we compromise and just elevate the head slightly.
Thanks for the link.
I may play with it more. Wife is at a retreat so I can mess with it. Give me something to do since I don't have her to pester.
If I want to sleep alone I can just turn on the vibrate function. Drives her up the walls. LOL. I think it has been turned on maybe a total of 30 seconds the entire time we have owned the bed (probably ten years now). I may play with that while she is away. When the cat is away, the mouse will play! ;-)
The pressure of the mattress is adjustable for each side of the bed to adjust the firmness. But since it is a double bed the elevation is not. We both have to sleep with the one elevation whatever we can agree on.
I would estimate I have to get to a head elevation of around 40% to keep me from stopping breathing and waking up. That is just a guess based on my easy chair that I am typing this right now. If I am in the completely reclined position (maybe 30 degrees???) I will stop breathing and wake up if I fall off to sleep or snore. But if I am in the next upright position (feet rest still out but upper body slightly higher incline) I can sleep in that position without waking. Then I tell myself I should just go to bed if I am that sleepy.
I have glaucoma in the left eye so that part was interesting to me also.
Seheult is a tremendously smart doctor. If he didn't have his religious anti meat eating bent I would probably listen to him a lot more. He seems to have a blind spot to research in anything that is positive about meat eating. I still listen to some of his stuff occasionally.
