Central Nebraska | While it's still really early on in the process, one would hope that they make things right with the affected landowners. They were pretty quick to release the suspected cause in the press release "in the name of transparency" which I think would mean they are accepting responsibility. Time will tell I guess. They (USFWS and USFS) seem to be easier to get along with at least on the firefighting side of things since the fires came off the forest in Halsey 3 times in 2022. There were still some deep wounds after the Fed's response to the fire in 99 as well. I wish you the best of luck but dealing with the federal government is usually a headache at the very least. | |
