My wife uses almond flour pretty sparingly. It seems to be a little harder on her digestion. She will use a little of it but leans more toward the coconut flour. The coconut flour tends to make drier and fluffier goods than the almond flour. Takes up a lot of moisture. She has to use more liquid with the coconut flour if she uses it as a substitute for almond flour in some previous recipes.
So if you substitute almond flour for the coconut flour in her recipes you may have to adjust the liquid amount accordingly.
