Mine has a big kink in it and has been in the gun cabinet for 20 years. Almost lost a finger climbing off a gravity box. Ring snagged and thankfully my tippy toes just touched the ground. Had to put the ring in a vice to get it straightened out enough to get off.
PSA If you don't have a silicone Wedding Ring. Buy one.
