CNY | You are correct my niece did that to mine several years ago. I don't let my son have it, but if he can he will grab it. The lock is more of a 2nd line of defense if he does get it.
This conversation made me realize how common locking phones is now. My first name is Adam and I am near the top of most peoples contact list. 8-10 years ago I would get calls all the time from little kids who had gotten someones phone with my number in the contacts. If they opened contacts and hit my name I would get a call. Hasn't happened much lately probably because more people lock their phones
