Embarrass WI | I have a 16 foot Lund Alaskan boat for fishing, bought it used a couple years ago. It has a 25 horse motor, needs to have more to be able to get up on plane. Boat is rated for max 50 hp, I'm thinking 40-50 hp should be enough of an improvement. What is the best to get, or what to avoid? It has a Yamaha 4 stroke now. There are really no dealers close by, so I am looking at just the quality of the motor itself.
Right now, I am thinking that I want another Yamaha or else a Honda. I have seen Tohatsu advertised-internet says they also build(or have built) Mercs and Hondas- any experience with them? | |
