Is anybody here old enough to remember NAFTA? That was when American manufacturing started circling the drain. American vehicle manufacturers couldn't build plants in Mexico and Canada fast enough. Those were all excellent paying jobs with phenomenal benefits that vanished from here and went to the countries with no regulations and super cheap labor. It was not at all beneficial to the USA except for some executives that were able to buy new yachts and beach houses[/QUOTE
Did you realize that an estimated 40% of the value Of US imports from Mexico are components made in the USA?.
