Bought some bred heifers and have a few on the ground now
Yesterday had a pre mature calf
Should I be concerned about their vaccination history

I bought a 14000 hour tractor from a guy that said it ran well. He’d owned it for years and never did anything to it. He didn’t know if the previous guy did anything to it either. It started blowing black smoke and lots of oil out the blow by tube.

Should I be worried?

There are questions you need to ask before you write the check and be crystal clear about the details/protocols/etc.

So, call the heifer development guy up on vaccination history. And, get the dead fetus to a vet and wear rubber gloves
